One more chance to catch Black History brown bag lecture

February is Black History Month, but Chemeketa has more event in the month of March.

At 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 2 in the Multicultural Center, history instructor Taylor Marrow will give the third in a series of three Brown Bag lectures.

The first two lectures covered the topics of “Reaching Beyond the MLK Legacy” and “History of Hip Hop Culture and Rap Music”.

The topic of the upcoming lecture is “History of Black Education and Black Innovations in the US”.

The event is open to all and presented by Chemeketa’s Multicultural Student Services.
