fitnessWhile the summer sunshine is here and outdoor activities are aplenty, we all know the blustery days will return. Make a plan to keep your fitness up throughout the fall and winter with convenient and affordable workout options through Chemeketa.

Yamhill Valley Campus

  • Conditioning Center– $15/term
    Ellipticals, treadmills, stationary bikes, strength training equipment and free weights.To register- CRN changes each term and is posted in the Conditioning Center and the pamphlet information in each building.

 

Salem campus

  • Classes– Approximately $30/term (class fee after tuition reimbursement)
    From yoga and basketball to weight training and zumba, a variety of class options are offered on campus throughout the day. Search the class schedule to see if anything suits your interests and schedule- you could save major bucks on the same class you take elsewhere. Bonus: A locker and towel are provided for no additional cost, but bring a lock and don’t bring your valuables.Register using the class CRN found in My Chemeketa

 

  • Conditioning Center- $15/term
    Ellipticals, treadmills, stationary bikes and weight machines. Open fall term Monday-Thursday, 6:30 am-7:30 pm, Friday 6:30 am-4:30 pm, Saturday 9 am-12 pm.To register- CRN changes each term and is posted in Employee Dashboard

 

  • Class Drop-In– Free
    Staff can attend any physical activity class (except Conditioning/Flex) on a drop-in basis with instructor permission and if space is available. If you’re attending more regularly, the Health and Human Performance (H/HP) Department prefers you register for the class.

    Other Free Resources
    Neighborhood walking maps are available in the H/HP Department and the racquetball and tennis courts may be used during non-class times. You can check out equipment with your staff id.

 

Woodburn center

  • Salsa class– $39/term (class fee after tuition reimbursement)
    The workout that doubles as a date night: Woodburn’s salsa, cumbia, merengue and bachata dance class held in the center’s multipurpose room. All levels welcome, bring comfortable shoes.Register using the class CRN found in My Chemeketa
