Thanks to the Library and Distance Education & Academic Technology department, Chemeketa’s newest resource for student success includes video streaming packages offering infotainment for the classroom and beyond.
These video streaming resources support learning across the disciplines and benefit employees with an interest in lifelong learning or professional training. In addition, faculty can benefit from increased student engagement through multimodal and flipped classroom learning which leads to student retention.
- Available via the web 24/7 at all Chemeketa locations and at home
- Shared collections can be used by any department or program
- Accessible, many of the videos have captions and some have searchable transcripts
- Licensed resources are approved for use in online classes without additional clearances
What shouldn’t be done with the videos?
Public showings that charge admission are not part of our license agreements (watching on your device in public is okay. Groups and departments can also use these videos.).
