Information Technology will be providing regular updates on the installation of the college’s new firewall. This update is for the week of April 27 – May 4, 2017.
We are at the point in the firewall upgrade where you will start to see some impact. This week we are installing a larger bandwidth connection between the college and our Internet hub. Testing of the firewall and network upgrades continue this week. Starting Saturday after classes we will be moving the student networks over to the new firewall. This will cause brief outages to the student networks of about 10 minutes each. As this is outside of the times those networks are in use, we do not expect that the outages will be noticed.

If you are experiencing a network disruption enter an issue in Help Center – System outage. If the issue is only with your workstation, then let IT know by putting in a Help Center – Assistance with computer issue. You can get to eLearn by going to http://chemeketa-bb.
