National Apprenticeship Week at Chemeketa

Nearly 200 area high school students joined Chemeketa for tours and demos during National Apprenticeship Week November 13-16.

Students from 12 high schools came to Chemeketa over the course of two days to receive tours from student ambassadors, learn about the sheet metal trade and participate in hands-activities in the Trades Information Center.

“Feedback from teachers and students was very positive,” said Megan Cogswell, Director of Apprenticeship. “It’s a privilege to work with such awesome people here at Chemeketa.”
