Besides donating to Chemeketa student scholarships through the Chemeketa Foundation, there are other effortless ways to help our students.
Salem Holiday Market December 7-9
The 19th annual Salem Holiday Market is partnering with Chemeketa to provide opportunities for our students.
The market features handmade, handcrafted artisan gifts by 250 vendors, Santa’s Village, train display, tree decorating and gingerbread house contests, pet adoptions and more.
Friday night, the market is holding a special reception where $5 from every ticket sold will go to the Chemeketa Foundation’s Student Relief Fund. This event offers specials to early shoppers, wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres
Canned food donations will be collected to reduce event ticket costs and donations will go to Chemeketa’s Food Pantry.
Attendees will also see Chemeketa Carolers Friday night and throughout the weekend, Early Childhood Education students running the kids corner, Criminal Justice students running parking and Wine Studies students offering tastings of Chemeketa’s wine.
