High schoolers score at Regional Math Competition

The morning kicks off with cookies and popcorn because high schoolers

Fourteen area high schools plus five hours of math competitions equaled a prime formula for success at the annual Regional Math Completion on April 12.

More than 130 students from South Salem, Salem Academy, Blanchet, McNary, Central, West Salem, Chemawa, Dallas, Early College, North Salem, McKay, Sprague, Silverton and Regis St. Mary high schools participated.

Throughout the day, students worked on rooting out solutions in classroom exams, both individually and in teams, enjoyed lunch then participated in the popular team relay event in the Bldg. 7 Gym.
