Chemeketa Woodburn Center is hosting its 14th annual Cinco de Mayo Festival May 3-May 5, 2019 to celebrate the community’s rich cultural diversity, promote education, engage our student body, promote health and honor the relationships and partnerships among Woodburn’s businesses and organizations.
Running from 10 am-9 pm each day, this event features a full weekend of activities including history, live music, dance, cultural folklore, food, arts and exhibit booths from community organizations.
On Saturday, May 4, local health services will host a health fair at the festival. The health fair will offer health literacy and services including preventative information, immunizations, dental services, flu shots, blood pressure screening and health information booths.
Admission to this festival is free and in 2018, this event served more than 14,375 attendees making it one of the largest free public events in the Willamette Valley.
