Have vintage Chemeketa program equipment, memorabilia, photos or historic swag? Consider lending it to the 50th Anniversary committee or the annual employee art show exhibit.
Depending on how long you’re willing to part with your items, these committees are hoping to protect and display the artifacts for a few weeks, months or entire length of the 50th Anniversary.
Employee Art Exhibit
September 9-18, 10 am-5 pm
Gretchen Schuette Art Gallery
Opening Reception: Wednesday, September 11, 4-5 pm
Showcasing the artistic talents of the staff and faculty at Chemeketa Community College, this year’s exhibit will also center on the theme of “Looking Back, Moving Forward” and feature artifacts from our 50 year history.
Those interested in participating in the art exhibit are asking to bring any piece of artwork they’ve created (limit one per person) or an artifact of the 50 year history to the Gretchen Schuette Art Gallery in Salem, Bldg. 3 on September 5 and 6 from 9 am-1 pm and 2-5 pm.
If you need special arrangements to drop off your artwork, then please coordinate with Terry Rohse at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please be prepared to pick up your artwork or items on September 18 in the Art Gallery.
Bldg. 2 Displays
Two displays near the Marketing and Foundation office and Tutoring Center will be filled with memorabilia—one for a few months and the other for the entire length of our 50th Anniversary.
