Japanese instructor awarded grant

Chemeketa Japanese instructor Susan Tanabe was awarded a grant of $848.75 from the Salem-Kawagoe Sister Cities Association. The grant will cover the expenses for a field trip to the Portland Japanese Gardens. Susan and two of her students accepted the award.
