Instructor: Michael HanscomPrepares students for taking the Pesticide Laws & Safety Exam to obtain a Public, Commercial or Apprentice Applicator’s License. Part 1 covers federal and state laws, reading labels, PPE and equipment, toxicity and first aid. 4 hours ODA CORE and Landscape Contractors Board credits are available.

Tractor Safety
Youth Tractor & Safety Certification Classes
Pre-registration is now open. Complete the registration form with desired dates and locations by May 13.
- Course covers safe tractor, machinery, and implement operations required for employment in agriculture
- Open to ages 14-17
- Taught on location by certified instructors
- Course fee is $79. Registration and payment information will be sent after the close of pre-registration

Continuing Students
You are a continuing student if you have ever taken classes at Chemeketa before
- Log in to My Chemeketa
- If you don't know your username and password, look it up here
- Click on "Registration" in the box on right
- Register for class using the CRN or the "Class Search" tool
- Pay for class by clicking on "Account" in the box on right
New Students
- Email and request a registration form
- Confirmation email and payment instructions will be sent upon receiving the completed registration form
Payment
Once you've registered you have 10 working days to make financial arrangements for payment of your class fees or you will be charged a $25 fee. Additional $25 late fees will be applied to accounts 30 days or more overdue (maximum late fees of $75 per term will be charged).
