JPN101 First Year Japanese, Term 1
Introduces the Japanese language (including listening, speaking, reading and writing) and Japanese culture (including geography, customs, daily life, heritage and literature), facilitated by the study of vocabulary, grammar, short readings and guided conversation. Instructor and students use Japanese as the primary language of the class. Prerequisite: Placement into WR115 or higher; or WR090 (or concurrent enrollment), or WR115 or higher; or consent of instructor. (All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.)
